An open-air courtyard garden within a prestigious contemporary triplex flat behind a classic 19th century building overlooking Hyde Park in London.
The client wished for a low-maintenance & elegant garden to complement the modern interiors and to be place for relaxing and contemplation.
Advanced computer design was used to create a curvaceous and organic copper structure with plant containers (Japanese Maple, Camellia, and Mahonia) and an integral bench was attached to the east wall resembling a river flowing through mountains. Attention to detail and smoothness of line are used to give the garden a sense of elegance.
Multiplicity of different effects created during the day with the use of reflective and warm colours of surface lights. The garden has been featured in the Financial Times 'How To Spend It' and Saturday Times Magazine.
