Gardening World Cup Japan 16

Fernando Gonzalez was one of eight internationally renowned garden designers to take part in the Gardening World Cup held in Nagasaki, Japan.  Dubed the 'ultimate garden design challenge' by The Guardian and now in its 7th year, the show features Fernando alongside other designers including Piet Oudolf, Adam Frost and Wannaporn Pui Phornprapha.

Fernando's organic structure (which uniquely incorporates seating throughout) resembles clouds, mountains and water emerging from a wild naturalistic landscape.  The Gardening World Cup opened to the public on October 2016 and Fernando received a Silver-Gilt medal.
